 Here is a poem I wrote a few years ago when I felt useless. It was a prayer I prayed.

Jesus, 

Love me when I’m unlovable.

Use me when I’m unusable.

Mold me when I’m unmoldable.

Keep me when I’m unkeepable.

Reach me when I’m unreachable.

Save me when I’m unsaveable.

Guide me when I’m unguideable.

Teach me when I’m unteachable.

Hear me when I’m unhearable.

Bare me when I’m unbearable.

Sustain me when I’m unsustainable.

See me when I feel unseeable.

Restore me when I’m unrestorable.

Wash me when I feel unwashable.

Keep me when I’m unkeepable.

Train me when I am untrainable.

Remind me of who I am when I feel unremindable.

Rescue me when I’m not rescuable.

Stop me when I’m unstoppable.

Still me when I’m unstillable.

Humble me when I’m unhumbleable.

Break me when I feel unbreakable. 

Hold me when I feel unholdable. 

Touch me when I feel untouchable.

Heal me when I’m unhealable.

Help me surrender when I am unsurrenderable.

Lift me up when I feel unliftable.

Fix me when I’m unfixable.


You alone are able. 

Able to love the unlovable.

Use the unusable.

Mold the unmoldable.

Keep the unkeepable.

Reach the unreachable.

Save the unsaveable

Guide the unguidable.

Teach the unteachable.

Hear the unhearable.

Bare the unbearable.

Sustain the unstustainable.

Stabilize the unstable.

See the unseeable.

Restore the unrestorable.

Wash the unwashable.

Keep the unkeepable.

Train the untrainable.

Do the unthinkable.

Remind the unremindable.

Stop the unstoppable 

Still the unstillable.

Break the unbreakable.

Hold the unholdable.

Touch the untouchable.

Heal the unhealable.

Change the unsurrenderable.

Rescue the unrescuable.

Stop those who think they are unstoppable.

Humble the unhumbleable.

Break the unbreakable.

Lift the unliftable.

Fix the unfixable.

Only you Jesus can do all things. 

Forgive my selfish heart.

only you can break my pride.

only you can save me from myself.

Only you can turn ashes to beauty.

Only you can take my when and make it new.

Only you.

  Unveiling of the Heart By Liz King Our hearts reveal a lot about us.  Our actions and words come directly from the condition of the heart.  I’ve felt strongly that I am to write about the heart.  As I have been deep in God’s word the last few months for a podcast I am a part of, I have seen one constant theme throughout the scriptures that we study, our heart condition.  Jesus tells us to guard our hearts, to judge the fruits of the heart, and that in our words and actions our hearts will be revealed. He called out the hearts of the Pharisees in Matthew 12:34 calling them vipers but Jesus also says, “for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.”.  God addresses our heart condition over one thousand times in the Bible, this means that our heart condition is very important to God, but it also reveals who we are in line with spiritually.  Proverbs 10:11, “The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, But the mouth of the wicked conceals...

  Is Pride Hiding in You? By Liz King Pride is something every human being deals with.  It was the downfall of Lucifer and the downfall of man.  Every sin is rooted in pride.  God clearly states throughout the Bible he hates pride. He despises the prideful and haughty. Pride is the inward elevation of oneself.  It is someone who is reliant on oneself and resists the submission to God.  In Job 41 pride is linked with the demonic sea monster Leviathan.  Pride is also linked with things we may not consider, like worry, unwillingness to listen to someone’s criticism, the need to be constantly affirmed or recognized, thinking you are right and others are wrong, lack of self-worth, arrogance, and fear. Many people, if you asked if they were prideful, would immediately respond, “I’m not prideful!” That is an immediate sign of pride.  Many do not consider themselves to be prideful, while others parade around with pride as a banner and their heads held...
