The Broken Doll

  The Broken Doll By Liz King Once there was a little girl doll who seemed broken beyond repair. Her hair was matted and had bald spots where others had pulled it out. She had holes and marks from where she had been unappreciated and abused. She could no longer laugh no matter how hard she tried.    Only one eye worked, the other was stuck, and she no longer had tears to cry.    Her dress was mangled and  tattered and she was missing an arm, but most of all she had a broken heart. She went to many masters to try to get herself fixed, but none seemed to listen or care.  They all said the doll was too broken or trash, or she was not important enough to fix. They told the doll to just give up because she wasn’t worth anyone’s time and no one would want or love her anyway. After a while the doll began to believe what the other masters said. She gave up and wander around, looking for a place to wallow and hide.    All she knew was she was dam...
