The Great Falling Away By Liz King We live in a world that has gotten further and further away from the truth of Christ and who He is. Many people who once claimed to be Christians are turning their backs on the gospel and what they were taught. They are following a trend of “deconstructing their faith” and taking things in scripture they agree with and discarding the rest. They have turned Jesus into a social gospel centered on government, the world, and the flesh. This is very dangerous because this puts us in the center of the gospel rather than Jesus (God). Jesus (God in the flesh) came into the world with the kingdom and eternity in mind. He came to take our place and sacrifice himself in our place to become our righteousness.
