Is there a limit to our mercy or is it conditional?  Are we bound by hurt and unforgiveness?  Many of us at one point in time or another have been wronged in our life.  We have been betrayed, abused, accused, lied about, lied to, or broken by someone so badly it's almost impossible to heal, much less forgive.  How are we expected to forgive or show mercy to someone who has done something so evil or grievous to us that it haunts some peoples very existence sometimes. Hurt automatically comes hand in hand with pain.  It can go from beyond physical to become emotional and even to a point spiritual.  Hurt causes spiritual damage and can influence us in the spiritual realm, building a wall of bitterness, hatred, anger, and causing a hardened calloused heart.  That doesn’t hurt the person who inflicts the pain on us, it hurts us.  It leaves us in spiritual b...

  You Were Born For Such A Time As This By Liz King            Today is someone’s birthday. In fact, every day is someone’s birthday. The birth of a child is the birth of a new leader, a warrior, a messenger, a life changer, it is the debut of someone created to change the world, most importantly the kingdom. In Esther 4:11 it reminds us we were born for appointed times “You were born for such a time as this.” Your birthday was written before time on God’s personal divine calendar. We were made with intent and purpose woven into our very being. Before the universe was created, we were a twinkle in God’s eye.      We live in a world where everyone is fighting to be recognized, to stand out, or be valued. We want to be loved and accepted.
